What’s a routing number?
A routing number is also known as an American Bankers Association (ABA) number. It’s a nine-digit number created by the ABA in 1910.
The routing number tells a financial institution where to send the money.
On a check, the routing number is the left-most number.
How to find your Chase routing number
There are several ways to find your Chase routing number. If you have paper checks, the 9-digit number on the bottom left is your routing number.
It can also be found through online banking, the mobile app, at a Chase bank branch, by calling the contact center, or looking at the ACH letter given to you at account opening.
